Happy Birthday J.D.

Johnathan Dude entered our lives 4 years ago. He was our first - first baby smile, first baby steps, first word, first hugs, first one to steal our hearts. Of course I cannot believe that 4 years have passed so quickly.

He is growing into a fine young gentleman. His curiosity (and questions) are endless. He loves learning new things, especially from his Daddy. He has a tender heart and love for his family. He loves playing outdoors, especially with bugs!

So yesterday we had a bug birthday party for him, complete with bug juice, wormy dirt pails, and ant hill cake. We had five of his friends come over and enjoy going on a butterfly hunt. Actually the biggest attraction for the party was their bedroom - everyone wanted to try out the climbing wall and slide (see previous post:Playground or Bedroom?). What a blast! I hope it was a special day for him because he is a very special boy.
