Birthday, birthday

Last week we celebrated Lane's birthday. It's cute how excited the kids get about birthdays and celebrations. JD had us all hide outside and surprise Daddy when he got home. Moriah learned to say 'birthday' and she talked about it for days, even in the middle of the night.

This week was JD's turn for a birthday celebration. Our big man is now 5 years old. He decided he wanted to wait to do a birthday party while we are out in California for Easter. So we just did a mini-party here at home yesterday.

JD with his birthday cake. It was a family affair in the making. The boys and I mixed up the cake, Lane & Matt frosted it, and JD carefully decorated it. Moriah may have missed out on making it, but she sure enjoyed eating it.


JD's Wild and Wacky Cakes is back in business.
