Where have we been?

Okay, I'll attempt to catch y'all up with what we've been doing lately. It's been a busy and fun time.

First, before we moved, Moriah had her first haircut. It's very cute.


Next, our moving travels. We drove through the Smoky Mountains and the Ozarks. It was all so pretty! But the especially fun part was our stops (but I took no pictures of our trip - sorry).

We stayed one night with our college friend, Reem, in Tennessee. She and Tom have twin four year old boys. It was so fun to catch up with them and play with their boys. We hadn't seen them since they were babies. Reem is a dear, dear friend. It was incredibly good to see her again (and also incredibly hard to say goodbye).

We also stopped in Arkansas to have lunch with Robin, Mickey, and Hailey (Robin is Lane's cousin). We only live around 4 hours from them now so it will be so good to have opportunities to visit with them. They did come up just a couple days ago to take Hailey to the airport near us. It is so good to spend time with them!

Then we arrived in our new hometown and visited with another college friend, Kyle. We've been out here to visit with Kyle and Angela so many times that it feels very, very strange to be living here, not just visiting. They also have four children and we are so thankful and excited to have this year to spend playing with them.

They helped us celebrate our first day in our new house.


Another fun thing about here is that Lane & I got engaged one of the times we were visiting. This picture is of all of us at the chapel were Lane proposed.


Also JD lost his first tooth here. This picture was a mere hours before it fell out.


We'd only been in this new house a bit over a week, when we loaded up again and went on vacation. This time up to South Dakota for my cousin Emily's wedding. Just about all of my family was there. It was a great visit.
The kids really enjoyed getting time to play with their cousins.

My Grandma was able to meet Bethany.

My Mom took us out to the farm where she grew up.


Then we went over to the Black Hills in South Dakota, stayed in a cabin and explored the area for several days. It was a perfect time of year to visit - everything was green and beautiful! We had a nice, relaxing time there.




But now we are back home and back to unpacking boxes. Which I really should get back to...
